    • Build a platform for critical, holistic and transdisciplinary reflection and discussion about the studies of society and religion
    • Disseminate critical, transcendent and transdisciplinary studies and facilitate an open and constructive dialogue between academics, researchers, educators and graduate students on the interrelationships between science, culture, society, economics, politics, the state and religion
    • Promote reflection on the identities and categories of religion, religiosity and culture constructed in Latin American societies from a transdisciplinary and secular perspective
