Train specialists regarding the research and learning of the History of Religions, who can influence the holistic, transdisciplinary and critical conceptualization, and the analysis and development of socio-cultural and political processes in Latin America
Generate a critical academic space and contribute and participate in the holistic reflection, the construction of knowledge, and the study, analysis and debate on the historical-social, political, economic, cultural and religious processes in Latin America
Develop critical, transcendent and transdisciplinary research on the interrelationships between science, culture, society, economy, politics, the state and religion
Contribute to developing a life trajectory towards an integral human being; expand social and political consciousness; promote social transformation, ecological and equitable sustainable development, and anti-colonial and anti-patriarchal thinking; foster awareness of identity, the human condition and pacifism; awaken a sense of responsibility towards society
